The Worst Thing About Being an Option Seller

As on option seller, there’s a chance that you get this unexpected type of attraction.
Got a call from a friend yesterday.
You probably have gotten a call like this one before.
I am not going to reveal his name, let’s call him Joe.
Joe calls up and got right to the point.
“Allen, I need a favor. If you say no it won’t affect our friendship, so if you can’t do it, no hard feelings.
I need to borrow $10,000. I can pay it back to you in a month or so.”
So I asked him what it was for.

Options trading tips

“I borrowed money from another friend. Someone I have known for a long time, and he knows I will pay him back, but for some reason he is asking for the money now.  I actually need $15k, but I already got 5 from another friend and I need 10 more.”
So how are you going to pay me back?
“Oh I can probably take it out of my business in 30 to 45 days. No problem”
I started asking more questions and it turns out Joe is in a lot deeper water than it appeared on the surface. His business is failing, he owes $100k to the IRS in back taxes, and on and on.

The Worst Thing About Being an Option Seller

When people know that you stay at home, do option trading for a living, and basically work 4 hours a day, they come calling.
Now this guy, is a real friend. But I have gotten many calls like this one in the past from people I barely knew.
They were desperate. But the thing is, that if you say no to them, they get angry. As if because you are successful you owe it to them to loan/give them money.
In the end, I had to say no. I have lost too many friends and family members in the past after “lending” them money and I don’t want to do that anymore.
But we are meeting tonight to go through his finances to see what can be done, sold, paid, or put off to get him out of this jam.
I tell you all this, because this friend now seems suicidal. Because of money issues.
And I can tell you from experience, that we all go through ups and downs. Especially with money.
Suicide is a selfish coward’s way out. Because the one thing you do not take into account, is how many lives will be affected when you are gone.
If you are in a similar situation and suicide seems the only or best option, get help. Email me if you have no one else. There are resources out there, people who want to help.

The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.
    Nahum 1:7 NASB

He needs to get on his knees and cry out to God. If he is serious with God, his perspective on this whole issue will change.
